How to prepare:
- If you have the plat of survey or blueprints, please place them on the countertop.
- Make sure your property is “showing ready” so the appraiser can see the value your buyers saw!
- You may be present for the appraisal.

How long will the appraisal take?
- Depending on the size of the property, the appraisal can take anywhere between 20 min. to an hour and a half.
- The appraiser will use the time that they are there to take photos of the living areas and exterior for documentation of the condition and features of the property.
- When the appraisal is complete, it will take approximately 3-7 business days to obtain the results.

Some things that the appraiser will take into consideration:
- The condition of the subject property
- The size of the subject property and the lot
- The quality of the features of the home
- The quality of the construction
- The number of bed and baths
- The quality of the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roof, siding and windows
- The number of fireplaces
- The size of the garage
- The age of the home
